A new gas well has been commissioned at the Galkynyş field

On June 14, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of issues related to the further development of the bilateral strategic partnership. In this context, it was emphasized that the recent telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of two states was a good opportunity to exchange views on a number of important aspects of Turkmen-Russian collaboration.

At the same time, the diplomats discussed issues related to preparations for the upcoming visit of S.V. Lavrov to Turkmenistan.

International Conference on Science Day Held in Ashgabat

On June 11, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the Ak Bugday etrap of the Ahal velayat, during which he got acquainted with the pace of the grain harvest and blessed the beginning of the grain harvest in the Magtymguly dayhan association of this etrap.

The President of Turkmenistan made a working visit to the Ahal velayat

The forum was attended by heads of state and government of a number of countries, such as Bulgaria, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, as well as heads of a number of foreign companies and representatives of the media. President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renault-Basso and President of the New Development Bank Dilma Roussef were also among the high-ranking guests.

The key event of the forum was the First National Exhibition of Industrial and Investment Potential of Uzbekistan. More than 90 leading domestic companies operating in petrochemicals, machine-building, construction industry, food processing and other sectors are represented in the exposition. The exhibition provides investors with a comprehensive view of projects ready for implementation and opportunities for cooperation.

In his speech, N.Atagulyev noted that the Tashkent International Investment Forum is an important platform for exploring business opportunities of Uzbekistan, implementing projects based on the development of logistics system, establishing cooperation with business and government circles, as well as entering the markets of Central Asia.

As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum program, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan N.Atagulyev.

At the beginning of the meeting, N.Atagulyev conveyed to the President of Uzbekistan warm words of greetings and best wishes from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the Tashkent International Investment Forum

On June 11, the harvesting season began in the wheat fields of the Dashoguz and Balkan velayats of the country. Inspired by the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, addressed to all grain growers of the Fatherland at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on May 29, farmers are determined to collect the rich grain harvest in the shortest possible time and without losses.

The start of the mowing in the Dashoguz and Balkan velayats was preceded by production seminars with the participation of representatives of the velayat and etrap khyakimliks, experienced agronomists, machine operators, and tenant farmers. The agenda included issues of proper organization of the harvest, ensuring the clear and coordinated work of the entire grain harvesting conveyor.

The participants of the seminars expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for his constant concern for rural workers, the successfully implemented reforms aimed at the systematic technical re-equipment and modernization of the agro-industrial complex, and the created conditions for a decent life and fruitful work of farmers.

It should be noted that in 2025, the country&#39;s grain growers intend to harvest 1 million 400 thousand tons of food wheat from 690 thousand hectares of land.

The grain field of the northern region is 145 thousand hectares, from which farmers will have to prepare 265 thousand tons of grain. As for the grain growers of the western region, their state order, according to the Decree of the head of state, is 80 thousand tons of grain from 50 thousand hectares of land.

According to a centuries-old good folk tradition, the elders offered a prayer to the Almighty for a successful harvest. Then the respected aksakals, having received sickles from the hands of the younger generation, mowed the first ripe wheat ears with the words &quot;Harmanyňyza bereket, &ccedil;&auml;jiňize bereket!&quot; - &quot;May the harvest of your grain be abundant!&quot; and handed over the symbolic sheaves to the combine operators.

The farmers have done a lot to grow a full harvest, in terms of carrying out measures to care for winter crops and strictly adhering to agricultural standards, giving preference to high-yielding varieties of wheat that have proven themselves well in the soil and climatic conditions of the region.

Grain harvesters, distinguished by their power and high productivity, have entered the fields. Their uninterrupted operation is ensured by a network of repair and mechanical teams with a sufficient number of spare parts, fuels and lubricants.

The delivery of wheat to receiving points, barns and elevators will be provided by trucks. The laboratories of the Main State Service &quot;T&uuml;rkmenstandartlary&quot; are also fully prepared, and their specialists will use the latest equipment to promptly determine the quality of grain coming from the fields. 
Machine operators, drivers and other workers involved in mowing have been given mandatory training on occupational health and fire safety. Appropriate conditions for work and rest have been created for them at field camps, performances by cultural figures and the work of mobile trading points have been organized.

Thus, the beginning of the harvest in the northern and western regions resulted in a bright, memorable celebration &ndash; exhibitions of products from the country&rsquo;s agro-industrial complex were organized, samples of modern agricultural machinery were demonstrated, and a concert of pop artists was held.

International exhibition of textiles and fashion "Turkmentextile Expo – 2025" opened in Ashgabat

The Department of Geology and Geochemistry of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev has developed an &ldquo;Innovative hydraulic unit for displacing air from the cavities of drill pipes.&rdquo;

The invention, created by professors and teachers of the said university - Doctor of Technical Sciences Arslan Geldimuradov, senior teachers Dovran Esenov and Rejepguly Gulmammedov, as well as teacher Mahmud Haydarov - received limited patent No. 956 from the State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

In order to implement this installation into production, teachers from the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, together with specialists from the T&uuml;rkmengazburawla&yacute;yş Department of the Turkmengas State Concern, successfully tested it at the Galkynysh field at well No. 261 at a depth of 1,600 meters, at well No. 263 at a depth of 2,350 meters, at well No. 231 at a depth of 3,496 meters, and at well No. 264 at a depth of 4,019 meters. As a result of the tests, it was established that the use of an innovative hydraulic installation, scientifically developed to improve drilling operations, makes it possible to eliminate obstacles that arise during the drilling process when the pressure at the bottom of the well changes.

One of the other developments of these teachers is a device called the &quot;Pneumatic Washing Machine with a Water Fountain&quot;. It was created with the aim of cleaning drilling rigs, their units and parts, saving working time and water, ensuring environmental safety, reducing costs and ensuring reliable, high-quality and long-term operation of complex technologies.This device has also received limited patent No. 935 from the State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

Teachers of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev have invented an innovative hydraulic unit

A cultural event was held at the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Federal Republic of Germany (Frankfurt am Main), dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s permanent Neutrality.

The event was attended by diplomats, representatives of the business community, members of the Turkmen diaspora and university students.

In his speech, Consul M.Ozbekbaev drew the participants&rsquo; attention to the importance of the Turkmenistan&rsquo;s status of permanent Neutrality and peacekeeping initiatives.

As part of the event, a presentation was held for the book &laquo;Magtymguly &ndash; the Sage of the World&raquo; by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the philosophical work &laquo;Hakyda G&ouml;wheri&raquo; by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The participants praised these publications highly, noting their contribution to the promotion of Turkmenistan&rsquo;s spiritual and cultural values on the international stage.

A cultural event was held in Frankfurt in Honor of the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality

From 4 to 6 June 2025, the 71st meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for Europe was held in Baku. The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Tourism B.Rejepov took part in the event.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 38 countries &ndash; members of the UN Tourism Commission for Europe. During the meeting, key issues of tourism industry development in the region were discussed, including current challenges, on which the member countries agreed on further joint cooperation.

It was noted that Turkmenistan, being an active participant in initiatives within the framework of UN Tourism, attaches great importance to the development of the tourism industry both at the national and regional levels. In this context, Turkmenistan pays special attention to strengthening international cooperation in the field of tourism, introducing modern approaches to the development of tourism infrastructure, as well as promoting the rich cultural and natural heritage of Turkmenistan on the world stage.

Turkmenistan strengthens cooperation with UN Tourism

In Warsaw (Republic of Poland), the delegation of Turkmenistan held meetings and negotiations at the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (ODIHR/OSCE).

The visit of the Turkmen delegation, consisting of representatives of the Central Commission for Holding Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan, the Mejlis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the media, to this European capital took place on the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov .

During the meetings and negotiations with the Director of the Bureau Maria Tellalian , as well as heads of departments, issues of further expansion of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE/ODIHR were discussed. An agreement was reached on the development of a Roadmap for partnership in various areas.
