Having exchanged warm greetings, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to discuss priority areas of interstate dialogue.

Various projects were implemented with their participation, in particular, the project of a gas chemical complex in the Balkan velayat for the production of 386 thousand tons of polyethylene, 81 thousand tons of polypropylene worth more than 3 billion 400 million US dollars, as well as a project of a plant for cleaning commercial gas from sulfur as part of the development of the Galkynysh field with a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters annually and worth over 1 billion 484 million US dollars.

We can also mention the project of a complex in the structure of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after S.A. Niyazov for the production of 350 thousand tons of superphosphate and 100 thousand tons of ammonium sulfate per year worth 682 million US dollars.

In this regard, the head of the friendly state expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the favorable conditions provided to Korean companies for fruitful work in the Turkmen market.

The interlocutors emphasized the presence of enormous potential for activating targeted cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

As the head of state noted, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, the UN General Assembly declared 2025 the &quot;International Year of Peace and Trust&quot;. On August 28, a meeting was held in Moscow between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

The heads of the foreign ministries noted with satisfaction the fruitful nature of the interstate dialogue, built on the principles of deep strategic partnership.

Having emphasized the key role of contacts at the highest and high levels, the participants agreed that these meetings are the main factor in strengthening bilateral cooperation with a long-term perspective.

The significance of 2025, the International Year of Peace and Trust in the history of the two countries, was noted: this year marks 30 years of the legal status of permanent positive Neutrality of Turkmenistan and 80 years since the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

During the talks, a constructive dialogue took place on key areas of the bilateral agenda, in particular, the parties analyzed and assessed the current state of political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, reviewed the implementation of previously reached agreements, and discussed joint actions for the future.

In the context of cooperation between the foreign ministries, the diplomats considered the practical implementation of the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for 2025-2026, signed during the official visit of Minister Sergey Lavrov to Ashgabat in June this year.

A common desire to intensify trade and economic cooperation was expressed. On August 25, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Ireland Yazgeldi Seryaev (with residence in London) paid a working visit to Dublin.

The document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People&#39;s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Ji Shumin.

The signed document is aimed at exchanging accumulated positive experience, discussing issues of practical implementation of advanced innovative solutions in leading sectors of the economy, as well as enhancing partnership in this area between Turkmenistan and the People&#39;s Republic of China.

Turkmenistan and China signed a bilateral document

The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the 15th century mausoleum located in the village of Argavand in the Ararat region, where the mausoleum of the Turkmen emirs Garagoyunly is located.

The event was attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, employees of the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia Muhammetgeldy Ayazov and employees of the Embassy.

The President of Armenia got acquainted with the historical values ​​of the mausoleum, and was also informed about the stages and features of the restoration work carried out at this place.

In turn, Ambassador Ayazov noted that cultural and humanitarian cooperation is one of the important areas of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Armenia.

Turkmenistan took part in the opening of the international conference on hydrocarbon neutrality and green development in Seoul

On August 22, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyev took part in the opening ceremony of the international conference &quot;Global Cooperation Conference on Hydrocarbon Neutrality and Green Development&quot; held in Seoul.

The new Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Kim Min-seok spoke at the opening ceremony of the conference and acquainted the participants with the program of the new government to create a specialized industrial complex in the near future in order to increase the use of renewable energy sources, achieve hydrocarbon neutrality and accelerate the transition to green energy.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan had the opportunity to have a brief conversation with Prime Minister Kim Min-seok.

Durdyev conveyed sincere greetings to the Prime Minister on behalf of the Leadership of Turkmenistan and congratulated Kim Min-seok on his appointment. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov held a meeting with the Minister of Health of the country Asilbek Khudayarov on August 22.

The parties discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, in the field of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical education and exchange of experience between the countries.

The ambassador emphasized that within the framework of the implementation of the State Program &quot;Saglyk&quot; in the city of Arkadag, the creation of a large medical cluster is successfully continuing, which is aimed at conducting scientific work in the field of drug development, as well as the production of various medical products.
